Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she works with athletes. Annie is the first female who has won at the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media celebrity. The media acclaim came from her becoming the first female to win taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Her other accomplishments include taking home at the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and in 2017. Annie was born and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. As a child Annie was a huge sports fan and enjoyed doing exercises. She was awarded numerous medals during school competitions. The first time she participated was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California and did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 (as at 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She did well in her first games and finished in the top 10 of the 70. The team was not able to earn any awards, which was why she ended 11th in the final standings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. When she competed in CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen. She finished in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. In the following year she again participated in the CrossFit events and thanks to her outstanding performance, she was able to win the contest and became the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie took home the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who had two wins at CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is currently a coach and trainer of Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is a rising athlete and appears in ads of sports-related products like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Transparent Labs Periodization among others. A few thousand people subscribe to her self-titled Youtube Channel, where she publishes training videos, family video as well as travel videos.
