Hayley Orrantia, the American actor, singer and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' But she is primarily an avid music fan. She maintains that music is her first passion. It's something she was experimenting with since she was nine years old. At the age of 12 the world of music had become significant enough that she was able to begin professional training. As a teenager She began to write her own music. Her first cover album wasn't released until 14 years after. And the rest is history. Orrantia has Hispanic roots, however she was born in USA. Though she grew up speaking solely English and was never in Mexico she's extremely happy about her Hispanic culture. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs, and also taking classes in the language. 'Hasta Verte' a song that she wrote in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor following the submission of a YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded an impressive four "yes" vote by the judge on the live stage show in Seattle. Though she initially auditioned on her own during "Hollywood Week" She, along with three female performers were placed into an ensemble for the remainder of the auditions. The live shows were held in the fifth week.
